For UK, EU, and other non-US customers, it’s essential to display VAT or other regional tax labels (such as TVA in France) instead of the default "Tax" label on documents generated in Zomentum Grow. This guide will walk you through configuring your tax settings so that your preferred label, like "VAT" or "TVA," appears alongside subtotal and total amounts on proposals, quotes, and other documents.

- Locate your VAT rate or create a new one if it doesn’t exist.
- Set the Category Name to the preferred term (e.g., "VAT," "TVA," etc.), which will appear on your documents in the tax breakdown.
- This name ensures that the correct label is displayed alongside the tax amounts.
2. Configure Tax Display Preference
- Go to Settings > Preferences.
- Under Tax display preference, select Show each tax category in separate row.
- This setting organizes all taxes in a breakdown format, displaying each tax category (e.g., "VAT" or "TVA") on a separate line.
Result
With these settings:
- All documents generated in Zomentum Grow will display the chosen tax label, such as "VAT" or "TVA," in the tax breakdown section.
- Each tax category will appear in a separate row, providing a clear, organized breakdown of applicable taxes, ensuring transparency and compliance with regional tax standards.
This setup customizes your documents to meet local tax terminology requirements, making them clearer and more professional for clients in the UK, EU, and other non-US regions.
