If a user is unable to access their password or Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) code, an admin user can reset the password or MFA for that particular user within the Zomentum instance. Follow the steps below to reset the password or MFA.
Steps to Reset Password or MFA:
- Click on the Settings Icon: Navigate to the settings icon in your Zomentum instance.
- Select ‘Users’ Under Settings from the Side Menu: In the settings menu, click on ‘Users’ to open the user management section.
- Find the User: Once the user list screen loads, locate the user for whom you’d like to reset the password or MFA.
- Click on the Three-Dot Ellipsis: Click on the ellipsis (three dots) next to the user’s name and select the desired option — either ‘Reset Password’ or ‘Reset MFA.’
- Confirm Your Action: A pop-up window will appear to confirm your action and the reset process will be completed.
Note:
• In case of password reset, the user will receive a reset link via email.
• In case of an MFA reset, the user will be prompted to set up MFA again upon their next login.
