Ever wondered what to do with your approved quote if you’re currently facing a shortage of products, or if your client just scrapped a winning deal? 

For such instances, you can clone the won document, manually update the status to an intermediate state and delete the previously won document. This will ensure clarity in your records without affecting your workflow. 


Steps to clone a document:

  1. Click on the Documents icon from the navigation menu on the left side.

  2. Click on the name of the won document to open it.

  3. Click on the ellipsis at the upper right corner beside 'Create Purchase Order' button.

  4. Click on ‘Clone document’.



The newly created clone will be automatically saved as a draft. To further move this document to the desired status, follow the steps provided below.


Manually updating status of a document:

  1. Click on the ‘More’ ellipsis at the far right corner of the document row.

  2. Click on ‘Update status manually’.

  3. Select the desired status from the ‘New Status’ dropdown.

  4. Ensure to toggle off the button 'Send document status change notification to all recipients'

  5. Click on Update.





Deleting the won document:

  1. Click on the ‘More’ ellipsis at the far right corner of the document row.

  2. Click on ‘Delete document’.



The won document is now successfully replaced with your new document while retaining the contents of the original quote.
