The billing page is where you can change your plan and add more seats. The section consists of the plans available and a summary of features. This is available under Settings > Account > Billing details > View plans.




Plans
Plans define what all functionality can be achieved in your account. Depending on your business requirement you can choose which plan works best for you. 

Each plan will have 2 seats initially, and you can add more seats if required.



Plan Summary
This section gives a detailed summary of the plan, number of seats, and cycle cost.




You also have the option to customize the cycle and there are hyperlinks to manage billing details and view invoices.

How does this work?
When you navigate into the billing section, your current plan along with the additional user information and the respective plan summary will be displayed. 




(i) Adding extra seats: 

You have the option to increase the users in the “Additional seat” section provided below each plan. When the additional seat is increased the plan summary will also get changed and updated information will be notified.

For example, when I increase the additional seat from 2 to 4 seats under the plan summary, you can see that the number of seats will be changed. An updated invoice notification would come up and the “Add seats” button would be available.

 

Note: 

  • The seats added would be applied only after you hit the “Add seat” button under the plan summary.

  • Current seats would be the previous value until you hit the “Add seat” button.



(ii) Removing additional seats: 
You have the option to decrease the seats in the “Additional seat” section provided below each plan. When the additional seat is decreased, the plan summary will also get changed and updated information will be notified.


For example, when I decrease the additional seat from 4 to 2 seats under the plan summary, you can see that the number of seats will be changed, an updated invoice notification would come up and the “Remove seats” button would be available. 



Note: 

  • The seats added would be applied only after you hit the “Remove seat” button under the plan summary.

  • Current seats would be the previous value until you hit the “Remove seat” button.



There may be instances where you would have a certain amount of active users in your Zomentum account. When you try decreasing the seats below the active users, you would be notified to deactivate the active user along with a hyperlink “Deactivate user”. When you open the link, a popup with a list of active users, to deactivate.




Once you click “Deactivate User”, the “Manage Users” pop-up will arise. Here you can deactivate any user of your choice (Three dots under “Action” > Deactivate User) 




(iii) Plan upgrade:

You can upgrade the plans by simply selecting a higher plan.

When a plan upgrade takes place, say from “Launch” to “Expand”, the plan summary would be modified accordingly. 

As soon as the new plan is selected, you will have the following changes happening on the page:

  • The plan summary will get updated to Selected Plan as “Expand”.

  • An updated invoice notification would come up.

  • The “Upgrade” button would be available. 


Note: 

  • The selected plan would become the current plan, only after the upgrade button is clicked.

  • Until then you can see that the previous plan would be the current plan.


    (iii) Plan Downgrade:

    You can downgrade the plans by simply selecting a lower plan.

    When a plan downgrade takes place, say from “Expand” to “Launch”, the plan summary would be modified accordingly. 

    As soon as the new plan is selected, you will have the following changes happening on the page:

  • The plan summary will get updated to “Selected Plan” as “Launch”.

  • An updated invoice notification would come up.

  • The “Downgrade” button would be available. 



The refund would be applied on the next billing cycle as credits.

Note: 

  • The selected plan would become the current plan, only after the downgrade button is hit.

  • Until then you can see that the previous plan would be the current plan.


Additional Notes:


(i) Any changes made to the plans or additional seats will only get updated when it is finalized in the product summary.


(ii) The product summary has different cycles which include monthly, quarterly, and yearly. Also shows which plan is more friendly by showing the save up to percentage.




(iii) In the summary section, you will see the current plan. When a plan is altered it would take temporary value under the selected plan. After the upgrade or downgrade is selected, the recently selected plan will be displayed under the current plan.

(iv) Under plan summary, the “manage billing details” gives out a pop-up to add the Payment information. And you can download invoices under “view invoices”.
