To ensure that only the recipient of the quote has access to the document, you can secure the document with one-time pins. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to enable the one-time pin option and control user access. 

Enabling one-time security PIN:


Step 1: Open the document you want to share securely. 


Step 2: Click on Settings and then Security Settings.


Step 3: Turn on the Enable PIN option. 


Step 4: You can send the document or "Share via link"


What happens when the end client receives a document with One time Pin enabled:


Step 1: The document will be sent to the user’s inbox. They can click on View Document to open it. 



Step 2: The document will ask the recipient to retrieve a Verification Code. They can obtain the code by clicking on the Send Verification Code button. 


Step 2: The Verification Code will be sent to the recipient’s inbox.


Step 3: The recipient needs to copy the code and paste it into the Verification Code field of the document. They can securely view the document now.  This ensures that whoever has access to the email will be able to access the document. 

Points to remember: 


  1. The same user can open the document multiple times without asking for new verification codes in a particular session. 

  2. If the user wants to view the document in incognito mode or logs in at a different time, they will need to request the Verification Code again. 

  3. They can request the Verification Code five consecutive times. 


  1. PIN attempts are restricted to ten times. If attempts exceed ten incorrect Verification Code inputs, the document will be locked. It will also block the user from making further attempts—however, the user to retry after one hour.
